lyrics
I found you
On a turntable
You were spinning around and around
Not making a sound
Your eyes were spiders
Spinning silk roads around my neck
I know we may never meet again
But we are all still caught in the same web
Chorus:
I want to cut your hair!
I want to cut your hair!
I want to make you care
I want to make you care
Verse:
I haven't seen your face in months
They haven't seen you here for days
And days they turn to weeks they turn to months they turn to years
And I just hope that you're not dying somewhere
Chorus:
I want to cut your hair!
I want to cut your hair!
I want to make you care
I want to make you care
I want to cut your hair!
I want to cut your hair!
I want to make you care
I want to make you care
Days they turn to weeks they turn to months they turn to years
And I just hope you're not dying somewhere
Miners cover a lot of genres with this EP and do them all a great justice.
"Restless" is classic slice of shoegaze. "Wrings" is dreampop perfection. "Empty Words" has post-punk undercurrent & vocal delivery. "Ruby" is gentle jangle pop gem. "Moon" closes the proceedings w/ noise pop in MBV & J&MC fuzzed out phased glory.
Miners has certainly produced some BC treasure with this set! Agent K
